What we mean by ‘your local Mamdani’ is progressive officeholders whose aim is to improve the lives of the people they serve. Servant-leaders, if you will. Some have lots of local support. Some are fighting against the right wing and the NIMBY lobby(‘not in my backyard’). But no matter where you live, we bet your area has someone like this too. Some are already in office and need our attention. Some are running for office and need our vote+.

Of course, not every community needs a progressive in the NYC mold — but every community needs the right disruptor who fits their locality. It’s the way forward for a better future.
